Disappointment

I'm a bit disappointed today. My goal for all this year has been to get under 100kg by the end of it. That's over 30kg away. And time wise - we're only 17 weeks until the end of the year... so technically I'd have to lose almost 2kg a week, AND not have any weeks where I gained or stayed the same. Bit disappointed in myself, as it was a realistic goal when I set it at the start of the year, but I've just gone up and down since then, without any lasting weight loss.

  1. Don't be disheartened! I had this situation happen to me at least a dozen times before I finally got this whole weight loss thing semi-figured out! Use it as motivation to make a promise to yourself and keep it, so you can look back one day and think, "yeah, I set a goal and I did it".

  3. Thanks for the encouragement guys! I'm going to give it my all and get as close as I possibly can. Figure January will be school holidays, so planning on doing LOTS of active things with the kids. I'm going to schedule in a treat meal once a week - that we all have to look forward to. So if I don't get to my goal by the end of the year I'll hit it towards the beginning of 2013 that's for certain :)
